Terms of Service

MyDogPortrait (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at mydogportrait.com and provides AI-generated pet portrait services. Questions can be sent to hello@mydogportrait.com.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may use the free preview feature only with parental consent.

MyDogPortrait lets you upload photos of your dog, choose an artistic style, and receive an AI-generated portrait. A free watermarked preview is generated at no cost. You pay only if you choose to purchase the full-resolution unwatermarked image or a printed product.

AI generation is inherently variable. We do not guarantee that every portrait will perfectly capture your dog's likeness, and results will differ across generations. The free preview lets you see the result before you pay.

You retain full ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading photos you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely for the purpose of generating your portrait.

You confirm that you own the photos or have the right to use them, and that they do not contain any content that is illegal, offensive, or violates a third party's rights.

Photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for portrait generation. By uploading photos you consent to this processing. We do not store your original photos beyond what is required to complete your order.

Once you purchase a portrait, you own the generated image for personal use. You may print it, frame it, share it on social media, and use it as a personal gift. You may not resell the generated image as-is or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We retain the right to display anonymized portrait examples on our website for marketing purposes. If you prefer your portrait not be used this way, email us and we will exclude it.

All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment providers (currently Stripe and/or Hyp). We do not store your payment card details. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes where required.

Prices may change at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

Digital downloads are non-refundable once the full-resolution file has been delivered, as it is an instant digital product. If you have not yet downloaded the file and are unsatisfied, contact us within 24 hours of purchase.

Print orders go into production immediately and cannot be cancelled once placed. If your print arrives damaged or defective, contact us at hello@mydogportrait.com within 14 days of delivery and we will send a free replacement.

If there is a technical error on our side that prevents delivery of your order, you are entitled to a full refund.

You may not use MyDogPortrait to:

• Upload photos of people without their consent
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our service
• Use automated tools to generate portraits at scale
• Misrepresent AI-generated portraits as hand-made artwork for sale

We reserve the right to terminate accounts or refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that portraits will meet your specific expectations. AI generation is a creative tool, not a precise reproduction service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyDogPortrait shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

The MyDogPortrait name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
